I also have a couple of anti-ships, in other words: canon couples (past or present) that I absolutely cannot stand. Why I hate them depends on the pairing, but what they have in common is that watching them on-screen makes me want to chuck something on the TV. I do my best to avoid them:

Lorelai/Chris "Gilmore Girls" - I hate Chris, he's an awful, absentee father who uses his kid primarily as a way to get into her mother's pants. He's selfish and possessive of Lorelai, and for some weird reason he's treated as though he is this great guy... I don't get it!

Rodney/Jennifer "Stargate Atlantis" - Although Rodney can be fun (in small dosages), he's far from a desirable partner. He and Jennifer have no romantic chemistry, he's almost old enough to be her father, he has this constant "I'm right and you're an idiot" attitude towards everyone around him, and we're supposed to buy that this young, beautiful, intelligent girl not only falls for him, but also is the one to pursui him? Get real!

Ross/Rachel "Friends" - They were cute to begin with, but quickly got old, especially as Ross turned into a hypocritical, possessive guy. Apparently he can do anything he wants, but the minute Rachel does any of it, the green-eyed monster rears its ugly head. He expects her to pay attention and sacrifise for him, but can't seem to reciprocate. How the majority of the fanbase actually adores this couple is beyond me!

Addison/Pete "Private Practice" - Individually they are great, but together they are a disaster. They settled for each other when they couldn't have who they really wanted. Addie took up a stepmother role in Lucas' life way too quickly, and even helped Pete fight Violet in court. I nearly lost all my respect for her, but it was thankfully salvaged in the end when she helped Pete realize he still loved Violet and that she should be in Lucas' life.
